Admissions Timeline
If you live in Manchester and your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 here’s what you need to do to apply for a September 2027 Reception place.
Action: Call or email school to register your interest and request a personal tour
Action: Apply for a place via the Manchester City Council website stating Rushbrook Primary Academy as your first choice*
Manchester City Council will contact you to confirm which school your child has been offered and you will be sent an offer letter advising you to accept the place.
Action – You must confirm whether you are accepting the school place offered
If you have been offered and accept a place for your child at Rushbrook your child will be invited into school to help them settle into their new learning environment, meet their teacher and make new friends
Your child will start school!
*Applications can be submitted online via
Manchester City Council’s school admissions page
(https://www.manchester.gov.uk/info/500321/primary_school_admissions/7264/apply_for_a_reception_class_place_for_september_2018) and paper application forms can be obtained on request from the Manchester School Admissions Team.
