Nursery

Welcome to Rushbrook’s Nursery! Our Nursery is part of our Early Years Foundation Stage at Rushbrook Primary Academy.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in Nursery and Reception – you can find out more here.

What you need to know:

  • Our Nursery is for 2- to 4-year-old children who can start the term after they turn 2.
  • Our Nursery is open from 8.45am-3.15pm
  • We provide morning sessions (8.45am-11:45am), afternoon sessions (12:15pm-3:15pm) and full-time places (8:45am-3:15pm)
  • Our free Breakfast Club opens at 7:45am

You may be eligible for either 15hrs or 30hrs of free childcare at our nursery, we are an approved childcare provider.

Below is a simplified chart which shows what approved childcare hours you might be eligible for. The best way to check your entitlement is to access the government website: ‘Childcare Choices’ and complete a short form (which only takes 2 minutes) https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

All hours are per week, over 38 weeks of the year.
