Manchester City Council School Admissions manages the admissions to Rushbrook Primary Academy (except in Nursery).

Manchester City Council determine which children are offered a place at Rushbrook based upon their Admissions Criteria.

At Rushbrook we have a Published Admissions Number of 90 pupils per year group. Manchester publish their Admissions details on their website. Manchester Admissions team is accessible by calling 0161 245 7166.

The school NURSERY does not fall into this category – and so we manage admissions to our Nursery.

Nursery Admission September 2025 onwards

Applications for Nursery places from September 2025 onwards, application forms are available from the Admin office or to download below. All Nursery admissions are dealt with directly by the school, please call on 0161 223 5955 or email Kwelsby@rpa.bright-futures.co.uk for any more information.

Reception Admission September 2025

Applications for Reception places for September 2025, application instructions will be sent to you in the post from Manchester School Admissions in September 2024 or apply online click here

The closing date for Primary Admissions is 5pm on Wednesday 15th January 2025. You will receive your offer letters in April 2025.

Secondary School Admissions September 2025

Manchester School Admissions manage the Admissions process for entrance to secondary school online. There are also paper copies of the admissions forms sent to Year 5 pupils at the end of the summer term of Year 5. These are sent directly to the home address, not to school.
