Reading with your child.

Thank you and well done to those Reception children who have been reading over the holidays whether that was your storybook, Jelly and Bean book, Oxford Reading Tree book or practising your sounds. Parents please can you write in your child’s reading record when they have read to you at home so that we can see how how your child is getting on.   For example useful comments are: ‘Jane really enjoyed reading this book and could tell me what had happened in the story.’  or ‘John struggled to sound the words out but enjoyed the story.’
