Year 3 Trip to HOME

Year 3 had a fantastic day taking part in our Network Rail creative project with HOME Manchester. We went on two trains to Oxford Road Station, where the children learned about train safety.

At HOME, the children explored the galleries and completed an observation activity looking closely at sculptures and artworks. Year 3 are currently taking party in a city wide project to create artwork to be displayed at Oxford Road Train Station. They then took part in a visual art workshop, creating a whole class canvas inspired by the buildings, people and green spaces they noticed on their journey.
